Sean Wang (TEP) currently serves as the chairman of the Global Wealth Security Legal Centre (GWSLC) at the Dacheng Banking & Finance Sector Group, leads the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and is the legal and tax consultant for several bank and financial institution headquarters. Additionally, he is the chief expert consultant at Surest Academy. Sean was awarded a full scholarship to study family trust and cross-border wealth management law and tax in the UK, where he earned a first-class Master of Laws degree with Distinction. He is qualified to practice in international trust and wealth management, holds senior membership in STEP, and is a licensed lawyer.

Sean enjoys a prestigious reputation, specializing in tax compliance and dispute resolution, domestic and international family trust, family wealth management, cross-border wealth planning, and charitable planning legal services. He was engaged by numerous banks and financial institutions including Bank of China, Pudong Development Bank, CITIC Bank, and the Agricultural Bank of China. Sean has also been invited to provide legal services to institutions such as the Tsinghua Wudaokou Institute of Financial Research and HSBC Private Bank. His contributions include offering training in trust and tax practices, charitable planning, cross-border wealth planning, and customer salon services, which have been well received by these institutions.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Sean serves as a tutor for master’s students at the School of Law and the School of Economics and Management at the University of Science and Technology, Beijing, as well as a special lecturer for MBA cross-border law and tax courses. He is also an invited author for the national core journal “Financial Expo Fortune,” and an expert commentator for popular media outlets like “Southern Finance” and “21st Century Business Herald.” Notably, he published the first mandarin book (non-translated) on offshore trusts in Mainland China, titled Offshore Trust Theory and Practice.
